The 负载管理 program lets you earn credits towards your facility's monthly electric bill when you allow 坦帕电 control the operation of air conditioning or specialized equipment during critical energy-use periods. During these high-energy use periods, the program assists 坦帕电 by deferring the need to construct additional power plants or purchase power from external sources. Both new and existing construction projects qualify for 负载管理 credits.

You select the equipment in your facility that can be turned off during high energy-use periods without affecting your daily operations. 例如, 坦帕电 may briefly interrupt power to your air conditioner, much the same way the air conditioning cycles on and off during normal operations.
不需要你付出任何代价, 坦帕电 will install control equipment necessary to temporarily interrupt power to the equipment you choose – such as air conditioning or even specialized refrigeration equipment – when there's a need to meet the demand for electricity.
作为回报, you will receive a credit for the kilowatt (kW) demand you helped reduce, based on the equipment's rating. The credit will appear as a separate line item on your monthly bill, showing the amount you receive for participating.
You may choose from two 负载管理 programs:
- 循环: 挣3美元 per kW between April and October (rebate paid even if 坦帕电 does not assume control of your equipment).
- 连续: 挣3美元.50 per kW year-round (rebate paid even if 坦帕电 does not assume control of your equipment).

Understanding the 负载管理 program guidelines
Our Cyclic Incentive offers $3 per kilowatt demand per summer month for all equipment on the program and is applied to your monthly bill. Cyclic air conditioning control is applicable to business customers on the following rates: General Service, Non-demand (GS) and Standard General Service, 需求(德牧).
Our Continuous incentive offers $3.50 per kilowatt demand per month for all equipment on the program and is applied to your monthly bill. Continuous control is applicable to business customers on the following rates: General Service, Non-demand (GS); Time of Day General Service, Non-demand (GSDT) and Standard General Service, 需求(德牧); Time of Day General Service, 需求(销售税).
When does the program control appliances?
- 夏季作业季节 is April 1 through October 31. Normal summer control periods are 2 p.m. 到10点.m.
- 冬季作业季节 is November 1 through March 31. Normal winter control periods are 6 a.m. 到11点.m. 和6p.m. 到10点.m.
All controlled equipment must operate on electricity. The initial credit is determined by the inspection date. 坦帕电 inspections are performed at least once a year.
